David M. Mysliwiec is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, Personal Financial Specialist, and Certified Specialist in Estate Planning with T. M. Byxbee Co., CPAs, NY, P.C. with over 20 years of diverse tax, accounting and financial planning experience. David is the firm's Tax Shareholder and Financial Specialist and currently supervises all tax and financial planning services. He has directed these departments since he became Tax Manager in 1999. David's main concentrations are with small business and individual clients, tax planning and tax compliance (including management consulting) and estate and trust work. He actively pursues his clients' best interests by focusing on their industry specific needs and assisting them in accomplishing their financial goals. Established in 1919, and holding New York State Education Department Certificate of Registration No. 1, David's firm also has a large concentration of non-profit, professional and construction clients.

David graduated from Siena College in 1989 with a BBA degree in Accounting. He spent 5 years as a tax analyst/reviewer for the largest fee-based financial services firm in the United States, where he assisted in providing advice to CEOs, entertainers and other high net worth individuals. David has since accumulated 16 years of public accounting experience. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Planning Association, National Association of Tax Professionals, was listed as an expert tax practitioner in The Directory of Tax Professionals 2003 and named to the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals for appearance in 2004-2005 edition.

David is active in many organizations including the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Side-by-Side Theater Company, Inc., the Coalition of Fathers and Families NY, Inc., the American Coalition for Fathers and Children, the Mechanicville-Stillwater Little League, Mechanicville Football Booster Club, and the Mechanicville PTA. He is the Treasurer and Board member of the Financial Planning Association of Northeastern New York, the statewide Coalition of Fathers and Families NY, Inc., and the Mechanicville-Stillwater Little League. He is the past Treasurer and Board member of Side-by-Side Theater Company, the Capital District Chapter of the Fathers' Rights Association of New York State, Inc. (FRANYS) for ten years, and is also past Treasurer of the statewide FRANYS Board.

David is an avid supporter of the arts, including Proctor's Theater, Schenectady Civic Players and various other local and regional groups.
